Haemodynamic & Cardiac Output Monitor

Cheetah Medical’s totally Non-Invasive Cardiac Output Monitor uses

Bioreactance® technology to offer the clinician real-time haemodynamic

insight. The unit is compact and easy to use (with four sensors applied to

either the chest or back) and can be used on both conscious and unconscious

patients to equal effect. Clinical parameters can be obtained within two

minutes and fluid optimization begun quickly and in a safe and guided way.

Continuation of haemodynamic monitoring during the crucial post-op surgical

period can enable the Nursing Team to assist a swift recovery.

The CHEETAH NICOM has been validated with all major technologies both

invasive and minimally invasive and is the only non-invasive haemodynamic

and cardiac output monitor whose FDA predicate is the Swan Ganz PAC.

All the data collected from the patient can be downloaded to a PC using the

NICOM EMR application, allowing the user to store, print or recall patients’

data for future reference, via a user friendly interface.

Parameters

As well as Cardiac Output (CO), the NICOM measures:

Heart Rate (HR) Stroke Volume (SV) Stroke Volume Variation (SVV) Thoracic Fluid Content (TFC)

The system also calculates clinical parameters such as Cardiac Index (CI), Stroke Volume Index (SVI), Total Peripheral Resistance (TPR), Total Peripheral

Resistance Index (TPRI) based on the above or manually entered parameters.
